Overview

You are the craft voice at the intersection of design and implementation — pushing visual fidelity and polish on Epsilon's CORE UI design system until it's the kind of enterprise SaaS that makes people stop and say "wow." You partner across Product Design and Engineering, building future-facing prototypes and shipping production components with an unrelenting eye for detail, motion, and finish. You bring deep design systems fluency, a refined sense for micro-interactions, and you use AI tools to move fast without ever cutting polish. This is a rare shot to define what best-in-class SaaS UI looks like, at a company where design has a real seat at the table.

Responsibilities

  • Push the visual quality bar on CORE UI — tokens, components, motion, and interaction — across Figma and production code.
  • Build coded, future-facing prototypes in Cursor that show what "wow" looks like before a line of production code is written.
  • Partner with engineers to close the gap between design intent and shipped reality — reviewing implementations, writing production-quality CSS when needed, and refusing to let polish slip.
  • Sweat the details on complex flows — every edge case, empty state, and loading moment considered and refined.
  • Help shape the craft standards the whole system is held to.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in UI design, development, or a hybrid role. Portfolio must show shipped, polished SaaS or related digital product work.
  • Hands-on experience evolving a design system in both Figma and code (Angular/React, Storybook, tokens, etc.).
  • A strong, opinionated eye for motion and micro-interaction — polished, purposeful, never decorative.
  • Fluency in high-fidelity prototyping that convincingly simulates a finished, delightful product.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS (animation, transitions, custom properties), and JS/TS — enough to implement and critically review production UI.
  • An online portfolio with live, interactive work that shows real visual craft, not just static screens.

Why you might stand out from other talent

  • You've shipped work at a level of visual polish most enterprise teams don't even attempt.
  • Your portfolio shows the "wow" — motion, transitions, details where craft was clearly non-negotiable.
  • You treat AI tools as a creative partner for exploring and validating design directions faster.
  • You move fluidly between Figma and code without losing fidelity in either direction.
  • You believe enterprise software deserves consumer-grade polish, and you've proven it.
