Job Description:

Dentsu is operationalizing AI at scale. Across every brand and practice, business teams are identifying AI-powered tools, platforms, and vendors they want to deploy — and they need a fast, expert path through the governance process to do it safely.

The AI Governance Concierge Service is dentsu's answer to that challenge — a dedicated, end-to-end service that gives any Americas business team a single expert point of contact for AI product adoption. The AI Governance Analyst is the research, documentation, and clarity engine that makes the service work. Every piece of information needed to evaluate, document, and submit a request flows through this role — and it is the Analyst's job to ensure that information is packaged with the precision and context that allows every reviewing group to do their job efficiently and confidently.

Working in close coordination with the AI Governance Service Lead, the Analyst owns all research, documentation, and submission activity — transforming raw discovery findings into clear, complete, submission-ready packages that give Legal, Information Security, Data Privacy, Emerging Technology, Procurement, and Global Enterprise Technology exactly what they need to reach informed decisions without unnecessary back-and-forth.

The AI Governance Concierge Service is not simply an approval function — it is a service built around bringing every engagement to a successful conclusion. That means approving solutions that meet dentsu's standards, identifying alternative products or approaches that address the business need within governance requirements, and providing solutions that facilitate approval where possible. When risks are identified that prevent approval, the service's role is to clearly document and communicate those risks and leave the decision to the business to weigh the risk and reward. Success is a business team that always has a clear path forward — not just a ruling.

What You Will Do

Vendor & Solution Research

  • Conduct structured research on AI tools, platforms, and vendors surfaced through the Lead's discovery conversations — understanding capabilities, architecture, deployment model, data handling practices, and integration requirements.

  • Build comprehensive risk profiles across all applicable governance categories: data privacy, security posture, model transparency, contractual terms, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk — structured to address the specific concerns of each reviewing function.

  • Gather the full evidence set required to support the review and approval process — including security certifications, privacy policies, data processing agreements, compliance attestations, contractual documentation, and vendor architecture materials.

  • Verify solution fit and redundancy — confirming whether the proposed tool is already covered by an existing approval or whether a preferred alternative exists in the dentsu-approved landscape.

Documentation & Submission

  • Document the full business case for each request — capturing the business need, the proposed solution, solution fit, and rationale for moving forward.

  • Frame and present each submission with clarity and precision — ensuring that Legal, Information Security, Data Privacy, Emerging Technology, Procurement, and Global Enterprise Technology each receive the context, evidence, and framing they need to review confidently and reach decisions efficiently, minimizing back-and-forth across all reviewing functions.

  • Create and own all submission forms and supporting documentation on behalf of the requesting business team — submitting via AIRS and TPSA as required — ensuring accuracy and completeness before routing to the Service Lead for review.

  • Validate that the proposed product aligns with dentsu's AI, security, and data protection policies prior to submission — identifying and flagging gaps early to prevent delays downstream.

  • Update the AI Concierge Program Tracker with accurate progress during the research and submission phases, ensuring the Service Lead has a current view of all active engagements at all times.

  • Stay actively engaged through the review process — collaborating with the Governance Engineer when reviewers require additional research, documentation, or clarification, and responding with the thoroughness and speed needed to keep submissions moving.

Program Development — Research & Submission

  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the research methodology, submission process, and documentation standards as patterns emerge across the pipeline.

  • Identify recurring research gaps, vendor documentation issues, or submission quality patterns and surface them to the Service Lead with recommended process improvements.

  • Partner with Global Enterprise Technology to ensure project-level process and policies are being met, and to work through new concepts emerging from incoming requests that could impact existing policy or warrant the creation of new policy or process guidance.

  • Flag new request types or emerging technology concepts that could impact existing policy or warrant new governance guidance — bringing findings to the Service Lead and Global Enterprise Technology for consideration.

  • Serve as an active member of AI communities and working groups within dentsu — staying current on emerging tools, trends, and governance developments and surfacing relevant insights to the team.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technology governance, risk analysis, compliance, vendor management, consulting, or a research-intensive function within a large organization.

  • Strong written communication skills; able to synthesize technical and legal information into clear, accurate, submission-ready documentation tailored to multiple distinct audiences.

  • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, generative AI capabilities, and the risk and compliance landscape around AI adoption — including data privacy, model transparency, and third-party risk.

  • Demonstrated process discipline — comfortable operating within structured workflows, managing handoffs, and maintaining accurate records across multiple concurrent workstreams.

  • Detail-oriented and organized; able to manage multiple research workstreams simultaneously without letting accuracy or completeness slip.

  • Proactive and collaborative; able to operate independently on structured tasks while staying closely aligned with the Service Lead and Governance Engineer on identified priorities, timing, and evolving needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a media, marketing, advertising, or professional services organization.

  • Familiarity with GenAI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001) or data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).

  • Background in vendor risk assessment, third-party due diligence, or enterprise procurement research.

  • Exposure to enterprise AI platforms (Claude Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, or similar).

  • Experience with OneTrust, ServiceNow, Coupa, or similar enterprise compliance and workflow tools.

  • IAPP AIGP, CIPP, or equivalent certification is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $94,875 - $130,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
